    An Introduction to Social Media

    In module we will be learning about what social media is and the ways to utilize it in your business. There will be topics discussed this week about how to properly use your time and communication skills when referring to social media platforms.

    Meet the Social Media Networks

    We will go into detail in module 2 as we explore the top social media networks; LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Google+. We will review each network and discuss the power behind each and how to utilize it correctly in your business.

    Social Media Marketing Module 3
    Blogs and Other Networks Worth Using

    In module three we will look at why blogging is a very important tool to utilize in marketing, how to build your credibility as a topic expert and attract readers. We will also explore other social media networks that are worth using for your marketing needs.

    Social Media Marketing Module 4
    Taking Action and Using What You Have Learned

    In our final module we will review what we have learned in the past 3 weeks. We will review on how to take action using each platform as well as how to stay connected with others and what is the best frequency to post. At the end of the week we will review some productivity tools to ensure your social media success.

    Angela Caban, MHRM, is a professional writer, owner of AC Consulting Services and founder of the Homefront United Network. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and her Master of Human Resources Management. She has an extensive background in the human resources field but mainly specializing in labor relations, employment law, communications, marketing and sociology. Angela has been writing since 2008 and has been published in various online and print publications, she has also contributed work as an author to two award winning books. She started a military family support website in 2010 when her husband deployed to Iraq with the Army National Guard. She currently runs her consulting business full time, with Ed4Online being one of her clients, and has also worked with small business professionals and television networks such as PBS and A&E Networks.
