    Overview:

In 2009, the first Women in Leadership (WIL) Economic Forum broke new ground in the Middle East by gathering and supporting female leaders through an action-oriented platform. Endorsed by the UAE Ministry of Economy for the past three years, the Global WIL Economic Forum has championed the recognition of women as key economic drivers for over a decade. It aims to highlight inspiring stories of successful women and best practices from organisations that are leading the way in this domain.

The 3rd WIL Forum Saudi Arabia brings together up to 250 men and women from across the Kingdom to advance women in leadership and address the challenges that are specific to Saudi Arabia. Entrepreneurs, business leaders, influencers, policy-makers as well as young female professionals will take part in open discussions through talk shows, TED-talk like sessions and hands-on workshops.

Vision 2030 puts a strong emphasis on creating an open and tolerant society. In order to achieve a leading position globally, the Kingdom will capitalise on its human capital – leveraging its female talent, the potential of its youth and encouraging the creation of small and medium enterprises to support economic development and reduce unemployment.

Building on these key pillars, the WIL Forum KSA is designed to facilitate discussion, foster cross-sector partnerships and catalyse positive change. It focuses on sustainability and makes the case for gender diversity as a key pillar of a forward-looking society, while providing organisations with a platform to showcase their achievements and reach out to women, and attendees with actionable tools to further advance their careers.
